Jack Carr reveals the Dark Wolf finale went through multiple iterations, including an elaborate World War I-inspired trench warfare sequence that was ultimately cut due to budget and time constraints. The original concept would have featured the protagonist digging trenches, using IEDs, and fighting with a World War I trench gun with bayonet. The final version brought in the entire SEAL team for the rescue instead.
