Egleze Limited · Effective Date: May 2026 · Last Updated: May 2026
Summary: Egleze operates as a registered digital news agency. We report on, summarise and provide editorial commentary on publicly available podcast content. Our use of short excerpts constitutes fair use under US law and journalistic exemption under EU/Irish law.
1. Who We Are
Egleze Limited is a digital news agency and information service provider, incorporated in Dublin, Ireland (registered under NACE code 6391 — News Agency Activities). We operate egleze.com, which surfaces the most important moments from independent podcasts — a platform dedicated to news reporting, commentary and synthesis of long-form public discourse.
We provide a newsroom service for the creator economy: identifying, contextualising and reporting on the most important revelations, announcements and moments from the world's leading podcasts.
2. Journalistic Purpose
All content published on egleze.com is produced for journalistic and editorial purposes. Our editorial team reviews, contextualises and adds significant transformative value to the content we report on. We do not republish content in full — we report on it, as any news organisation would report on a press conference, interview or public statement.
Under GDPR Article 85 and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018 (Section 43), Irish law provides specific exemptions for the processing of personal data for journalistic purposes in the public interest. Our analysis of transcripts featuring public figures who have voluntarily made public statements falls within this exemption.
3. Fair Use Compliance (US Copyright Law)
Egleze operates in compliance with Section 107 of the United States Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 107), which provides for fair use of copyrighted material for the purposes of criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship and research.
Our Fair Use Position
Purpose and character: Our use is highly transformative. We synthesise, categorise, score for newsworthiness and provide unique editorial context that does not exist in the original source material.
Nature of the work: We report exclusively on publicly distributed content — podcasts made freely available by their creators to the general public.
Amount used: We use short excerpts only — video clips are limited to 60 seconds maximum from episodes typically 1–4 hours in length, representing less than 2% of total content.
Effect on the market: Our service supplements, not substitutes, the original content. Every report includes a direct link to the full original episode, actively driving traffic back to the original creator.
4. Non-Substitution Policy
Egleze is explicitly designed to drive traffic to original creators, not to replace them. Every story published on egleze.com includes:
A direct link to the full original episode
Clear attribution of the source show and host
The name of the guest or speaker
Context that encourages readers to listen to the full episode
We actively send traffic to the creators whose content we report on. This is central to our editorial mission and our legal position.
5. DMCA Takedown Policy
Egleze respects intellectual property rights. We have registered a DMCA agent with the United States Copyright Office in accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(2), providing Egleze with Safe Harbor protection under US law.
If you are a copyright owner and believe your content has been used in a manner that does not constitute fair use, please contact our registered agent with the following information:
Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
Identification of the material on our site you believe infringes your copyright
Your contact information
A statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorised
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate
The views, opinions and statements expressed by podcast hosts and guests summarised on this platform are their own and do not represent the editorial stance, opinions or positions of Egleze Limited, its directors, employees or affiliates. Egleze reports on public statements as a news agency — we do not endorse, validate or verify the accuracy of statements made by third parties.
7. Editorial Standards
Egleze maintains the following editorial standards in all published content:
All quotes are accurately transcribed and presented in context
Headlines accurately represent the content of the story
Summaries do not misrepresent or distort the original statements
All sources are clearly attributed
Corrections are published promptly when errors are identified
To report an editorial concern or request a correction, contact us at hello@egleze.com.
