The fastest way to burn dangerous visceral fat - supermodels have more than sumo wrestlers!
""We don't know how much muscle and the quality of the muscle they're losing. And this is worrying because if there's an excess of muscle be loss, not only fat, but excessive muscle in comparison to how much fat you you're losing. So if you are losing the wrong amount of muscle and the wrong type of muscle, yeah, you might be creating in future a p a pandemic of, you know, psychopenia and all related conditions.""
Discussing GLP-1 agonists such as Ozempic and Wegovy, Bell says visceral and liver fat typically fall with weight loss, but argues the field still lacks clear published evidence on how much muscle and muscle quality people lose on these drugs. He says the literature is “quite contradictory” and raises the concern that excessive muscle loss could increase future rates of sarcopenia and related conditions, particularly if exercise is not part of treatment.
