What was said
"Hundreds of billions of dollars and $1.7 billion in green cash flown to Tehran was handed over to them on a silver platter. Every bank in DC, Virginia, and Maryland was emptied out. It was so much money that when it arrived, Iranian thugs had no idea what to do with it. They had never seen money like this and never will again. It was taken off the plane in suitcases and satchels, and the Iranians couldn't believe their luck."
President Trump posted detailed claims about Obama's cash payment to Iran, alleging it required physically emptying banks across the DC region because the sum was too large for wire transfer. Trump described Iranian officials as shocked by the scale of cash delivered in suitcases, characterizing Obama as 'the greatest sucker of them all' for reviving Iran's economy.
