Anik believes trading Jaylen Brown was right move for Boston Celtics

"So I am on an island, but I trust in Brad Stevens, right? I trust that he still wants to work for this organization. And my thesis statement on it is that they need to and want to get the ball in Jayson Tatum's hands more often. And Jaylen Brown commands the ball a lot."

Jon Anik stated he supports the controversial Celtics trade of Jaylen Brown, arguing the team needs the ball in Jayson Tatum's hands more often. While acknowledging the team didn't get great return value, Anik defended the trade as necessary to give Tatum more opportunities. He dismissed concerns about organizational dysfunction and said he believes GM Brad Stevens still wants to work for the franchise.
