A 19-year Homeland Security Investigations senior agent who was assigned to investigate the January 6 pipe bomb case was found dead in his condo on November 26, days after being briefed on how he would pursue the investigation. His body was cremated three weeks later before a medical examiner's report was issued. The new condo owner was told the previous occupant was murdered. No autopsy report has been released six months later.
