Results showed maternal DNA tracing to the Middle East 12,000-15,000 years ago, but paternal DNA matched nothing in GenBank. Four certified labs, including University of Texas, reportedly confirmed the findings. Mainstream genetics dismissed the work as contamination, though no replication studies were attempted.
