Morris Friedman at Baycrest in Canada discovered that patients with left frontal strokes could move arrows on screens using only their minds at rates above statistical chance. The neuroscientist colleague interprets this as evidence that the left frontal cortex normally inhibits psychic abilities located in the right hemisphere, and damage removes this inhibition.
