Sinclair says his lab has progressed beyond gene therapy towards an orally delivered “cocktail” that produces signs of rejuvenation in old mice, given several days a week over a month. He says his group is still working out the mechanism, but argues it involves epigenetic “reset” pathways rather than a generic stress response.
