"I was asked by people who are in the government to speak to interagency people, scientists. And so they would have me talk to these scientists, like 50 of them, from various parts of the government, and basically tell them the story of American Cosmic."
Pasulka says she was invited by government-linked contacts to speak to an inter-agency group of scientists, estimating around 50 attendees, and to recount the narrative from her book American Cosmic. She speculates the briefings may have been intended to shape researchers’ thinking, though she says no explicit reason was given.
