Apple filed a federal lawsuit alleging OpenAI systematically stole trade secrets through former Apple employees who brought hardware parts to interviews and downloaded over 1,000 pages of confidential documents. The suit names OpenAI, Jony Ive's IO Products, and multiple former Apple engineers. Apple wants damages and an injunction as OpenAI prepares for its IPO. Over 400 former Apple employees now work at OpenAI.
