Coach John Wood Believes Gina Carano Will Fight Again, Explains Why Fighters Should Never Retire
"I think there is a good possibility. I know that right after the fight there was definitely that want to still potentially do it. It's not been a hard no. It's definitely not been a hard yes."
Despite the devastating 17-second loss to Ronda Rousey, Wood revealed that Gina Carano has not completely closed the door on fighting again. He explained there's an "unfulfilled mission" after the fight ended so quickly, and while she hasn't committed either way, the possibility remains open. Wood noted they remain in regular contact and the conversation is ongoing.
