"He said, 'Chale, I don't want to talk about my weight.' This was a surprise answer. He said, 'I'm going to keep my weight close, but I will tell you for the first time ever, I got to pull down to to 170.' And if I was to guess, I mean, he's closer to 180 than he is 170."
Chael Sonnen revealed exclusive information from a recent McGregor interview where the fighter disclosed he will have to cut weight to reach the 170-pound limit for his fight with Max Holloway. McGregor, who walks around closer to 180 pounds, stated this will be the first time in his career he has to pull down to welterweight, potentially giving him a size advantage over Holloway who typically comes in lighter.
