The United States under President Trump launched extensive military strikes against six to seven Iranian coastal towns including Bandar Abbas, Bushehr, and Chabahar, representing an escalation beyond previous attacks. The strikes follow yesterday's attacks that killed at least eight individuals. Iranian military officials threatened massive retaliation against all US bases involved, with state TV warning strikes are imminent.
