Will Harlow: STOP Losing Muscle After 50 (Do This Instead)
"As I've moved through my career, I've come to the conclusion that probably 80% of the cases that I treat in the clinic are what I would call mechanical problems. So mechanical pain. We used to think everything that caused pain is an injury, right? Now we know that you can have pain in the absence of injury, and you can have an injury in the absence of pain."
UK physiotherapist Will Harlow revealed that most pain cases he treats stem from mechanical biomechanical problems rather than actual tissue injuries. He explained that poor mechanics and muscle function cause pain even without damage, contradicting traditional medical models that equate pain with injury. This reframes how millions approach chronic pain treatment.
