What was said
"These documents expose Fauci's direct role in influencing and manipulating IC assessments on COVID-19, and how Fauci lied to Congress in 2024 when under oath he denied knowledge of or participation in discussions with intelligence officials about viral research."
On her final day as Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard released previously classified communications showing Dr. Fauci manipulated intelligence community assessments on COVID-19's lab leak origins and lied under oath to Congress. The documents reveal Fauci funded gain-of-function research at Wuhan Institute of Virology with U.S. taxpayer dollars and coordinated with politicized intelligence officials to suppress evidence of the lab leak, while whistleblowers faced retaliation for challenging the narrative.
