Alex Pereira appeared in-studio visibly upset after his loss to Ciryl Gane at the White House event, accusing Herb Dean of failing to stop illegal shots to the back of his head. Pereira revealed he specifically warned Dean before the fight about Gane's history of back-of-head strikes, claiming Dean acknowledged the concern but failed to act during the fight. Pereira stated he will ensure Dean never referees him again and called for Dean's removal from officiating, citing safety concerns for all fighters.
