Defense Department Cannot Account for $1.8 Trillion in Assets
Reality Check with Ross Coulthart
Is the US government covering up technology that would crash the oil industry? | Reality Check
"Either they have the world's worst accountant, or there is money being hidden outside of congressional oversight, which to me means somebody is breaking the law."
The US Department of Defense has failed its seventh consecutive annual audit, with auditors unable to verify $1.8 trillion of its $4.1 trillion in total assets.
