#305 AJ Pasciuti - Marine Scout Sniper on Hunting Juba, the Deadliest Enemy Sniper in Iraq
"I look at the brass, and I have my little red lens on the back of the brass. It says LC, Lake City Ammunition Manufacturing Plant. I called Jimmy over and I say, oh shit, that's when I knew it was an American rifle using American ammunition."
Former Marine Scout Sniper AJ Pashutti revealed on The Sean Ryan Show that in June 2006, he killed the infamous enemy sniper known as Juba in Iraq. Juba had been using an M40A1 sniper rifle taken from four Marines killed in Ramadi in 2004, and was credited with killing over 100 Americans. Pashutti discovered Juba's hide site by spotting a Sony Handycam in a vehicle and engaged after observing American-made brass casings at a previous sniper position, confirming the shooter was using captured U.S. equipment.
