Weinberger alleges Israeli defence firms incorporate in US to boost sales

"A lot of what's happening is Israeli companies are incorporating in the United States to sort of shed their Israeli identity in part because they want to sell to the Pentagon and the Pentagon doesn't like to buy from foreign buyers as much Israeli or not. And the other is because they don't you know there are you know European comp countries they they don't want to be identified anymore as Israeli because of the backlash against Israel."

Sharon Weinberger alleges some Israeli defence companies are incorporating in the United States to make Pentagon procurement easier and reduce backlash in parts of Europe. She also says French restrictions at the Paris Air Show were political signalling that did not alter commercial realities.
