What was said
"I was uh too young and I didn't weigh much. So, but uh I took care of that by having my my aunt, which was my mother's sister, fill out a be uh bellayed birth certificate out of and uh it was never certified."
Frank Wright recalls recruiters initially refusing him for being underage and underweight. He says his aunt filled out a delayed birth certificate that was never certified, and that the recruiting sergeant accepted it anyway. He also says he stuffed bananas in his blouse to meet the weight requirement.
