What was said

""So, I go there. I meet this guy. This guy has a uh a tumor that needs removing from the frontal lobe. So you're in there for the whole thing? Right up there. Right up there.""

Andrew Huberman said he attended a surgery performed by his childhood friend Eddie Chang, whom he described as chair of neurosurgery at UCSF, on a patient with a frontal-lobe tumour. Huberman said he was present “for the whole thing” and described that the patient was kept awake during parts of the procedure so surgeons could identify functional brain areas and avoid damaging speech and movement functions.
