"not that day but a day or two later we had the anthrax crisis and you didn't know if that was uh part of a terrorist group following up on the September 11th attacks and I actually had anthrax in my office and had to take cypro and do all of those things and that that was just a trooper had brought it in from another place. It wasn't like my office had been attacked."
George Pataki says that in the days after 9/11, during the anthrax scare, anthrax ended up in his office and he took ciprofloxacin as a precaution. He adds it was brought in inadvertently by a trooper from another location, rather than being a direct attack on his office.
