US Energy Secretary Chris Wright said about two billion people still cook and heat homes indoors using wood, agricultural waste or dung. He cited a World Health Organization estimate of two to three million deaths a year from indoor air pollution and said he launched a foundation offering small loans for cleaner cooking-fuel businesses.
