Rob Delaney tells Conan O’Brien he got sober 24 years ago after driving into a building while in a blackout, an incident he says prompted a judge to offer him a choice between jail and rehab. Delaney frames it as a turning point, saying the realisation his drinking could have killed someone else helped him accept he had a serious problem and seek help.
