Strieber says that, after his alleged implant became hot and visible redness appeared, a scientist brought him to a “signals lab” to attempt to detect emissions. He later claims two unnamed men approached him at a book festival and told him the detected signal remained under study and was unusually complex. The episode provides no independent confirmation that the lab work occurred or that any signal exists.
