Casey Rocket says burnout made him question life beyond performing

Casey Rocket | This Past Weekend w/ Theo Von #671
"But I came to realize and in probably in December that there has to be more to life than this. There has to be more than a performative affect. Um I have to be worth more than what I think I'm worth to my friends just as a performer."
Casey Rocket recalls telling Von that as his career accelerated he tied self-worth to performance and others’ opinions, leaving him jaded when sets went badly. He says stepping back helped him build friendships outside comedy and feel valued without having to be funny.
