"The estrogen patch is not your only option. Systemic estrogen falls into two categories. Um there's transermal of which the patch is transermal, just means it just goes through the skin. So if you're out of patches, if you want to say, "Oh, but I really want to stay with the transermal," you can use a spray, you can use a gel."
