Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney says Canada is seeking a comprehensive agreement covering sectors including aluminium, steel, forest products and automobiles, rather than a partial arrangement. Carney says he spoke with President Trump and agreed to intensify negotiations, while warning Canada will consider “all options” if the threatened tariffs take effect within the stated 29-day window.
