Ontario premier Doug Ford argues Canada should retaliate strongly if US tariffs take effect, claiming Canada’s role as a major supplier of energy and commodities gives it leverage. In the same exchange, Ford says he understands the tariff impact could be “28 billion across the country” and warns Ontario would bear much of the hit.
