MrBeast Reduced Child Labor by 90 Percent in West African Cocoa Villages

MrBeast revealed a previously undisclosed case study where his chocolate company Feastables intervened in five West African villages with approximately 10,000 residents. By paying farmers a living income reference price and auditing farms, his team reduced illegal child labor from 550 children to approximately 50 in seven months—a 90% reduction. He emphasized that 1.5 to 1.8 million children work in illegal child labor on West African cocoa farms, and major chocolate companies have done little to address the issue.
