‘The Odyssey’ Star’s Ignorance Just Blew Up in Her Face
What was said
"Chris Nolan desecrated Homer and graveled on his knees just to meet the woke rules required to win an Oscar. What a worm."
Elon Musk publicly criticized director Christopher Nolan for casting choices in The Odyssey, claiming Nolan compromised artistic integrity to satisfy Academy diversity requirements. The controversy centers on casting Lupita Nyong'o as Helen of Troy and Elliot Page as a Trojan warrior in the adaptation of Homer's ancient Greek epic. Musk's criticism is particularly personal given his own experience with his transgender child.
