Greg Newkirk revealed that scientist Andrei Puharich received approximately $300,000 (nearly $1 million in today's value) from the Atomic Energy Commission in 1968 for his telepathic hearing device research. Paul Henshaw, who worked for the AEC and was involved in the Manhattan Project, witnessed experiments with the TD-100 device that allowed deaf patients to hear through facial nerves.
