There's been 3 names that have been floated around to me. The opponent I think makes the most sense, Lerone Murphy. Even though I don't want to fight Lerone, it's just one of those."
Former bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling revealed that three potential opponents have been floated for his featherweight return, with Lerone Murphy making the most sense as a number one contender fight despite Sterling's reluctance to fight a fellow Jamaican. Sterling also mentioned Diego Lopes and indicated he's hoping to be the backup for the Movsar Evloev vs. Alexander Volkanovski title fight planned for October in Abu Dhabi.
