US oil reserves depletion gives Iran time advantage in escalating conflict

U.S. IS SPEEDING TOWARDS ZERO AND IRAN JUST HAS TO WAIT - w/ Brandon Weichart
"The time plays— or I'm sorry, time is an advantage for the Iranians in this war. It is not an advantage for the United States. We're the ones on a countdown to the depletion of our, uh, as you know, our oil reserves. So the Iranians don't have to really do much of, you know, escalating in the immediacy. They can wait, and they can— and I think that's part of the plan, is they know that we're speeding toward zero here."
A defense analyst claims the United States is rapidly depleting its oil reserves while engaged in conflict with Iran over the Strait of Hormuz, giving Iran a strategic advantage to simply wait out American escalation. The speaker suggests Iran's strategy is to let the US reach emergency reserve levels, predicting Trump will then act spasmodically and set the stage for American defeat. This assessment directly contradicts the administration's stated strategy of escalating to de-escalate.
