Joe Rogan reviewed what he called the worst referee decision in UFC history when an official stood up Kamaru Usman despite Demian Maia having his back with hooks in and working toward a rear-naked choke. The highly advantageous position required significant skill to achieve and should never have been interrupted. Rogan argued referees sometimes listen to crowd boos rather than understanding grappling positions.
