"if you are a Christian, if you're a conservative or a Republican, you walk out your door every day wondering if someone's going to try and kill you. You walk out the door every day, you go to an event and you wonder if someone's going to try and kill you and kill your family. You talked about it yourself. You have a security team. We all have security teams. We all have to be thinking through every last little thing. We have to micromanage every aspect of our security."
Conservative commentator Shawn Davis claims Christians and conservatives live under constant threat of violence while leftists face no similar danger, citing the assassination of Charlie Kirk associate and threats against other right-wing figures. He argues this asymmetrical political violence has been completely normalized with insufficient response from law enforcement or society.
