Spencer Pratt on Fixing LA: Wildfires, Homelessness, Corruption & the Fight to Take It Back
"Janice Quiñones, who is the CEO of LADWP, who drained two reservoirs leading into a known year of the driest fire weather season, took out the water with no plan, no backups, no tankers. She was getting paid $750,000 a year plus her benefits."
Spencer Pratt, LA mayoral candidate whose home burned in the Palisades fire, accused LADWP CEO Janice Quiñones of draining two critical fire reservoirs before the 2025 fire season with no contingency plan. Pratt claims he lived next to the Palisades Reservoir containing 5 million gallons where fire crews regularly drilled, and it was emptied in June 2024. He alleges Mayor Bass lied in their debate about which reservoirs existed and their purpose.
