"These people are livid. They're like I am paying for tokens that create no value. These people are stealing the weights and alpha of my business and they're creating a wealth tax that does not help the poor. It just punishes starts with the billionaires. These models have been completely over irresponsibly oversold. Are you keeping the data? Are you going to enter our business? Do they get to control the weights to do it or do you get to control the weights?"
Palantir CEO Alex Karp launched a frontal assault on Anthropic and OpenAI, claiming their token-based models extract proprietary business intelligence and operational knowledge from enterprise customers. He announced partnership with Nvidia to deliver sovereign AI architecture using open-weight models that enterprises can control on-premises. Karp argues the consensus Silicon Valley model transfers alpha to third parties while creating unjustified wealth concentration.
