What was said
"That program, which was originally supposed to take 3 years, 2 to 3 years, ended up taking 11 years. We declassified and released about 60,000 pages of UAP-related documentation."
Nick Pope reveals that the British government declassified and released approximately 60,000 pages of UFO-related documentation starting in 2008, a process that took 11 years instead of the planned 3. Pope was brought back from retirement to help publicize the release campaign. The files, housed at the National Archives, represent decades of formal UFO investigation dating back to 1953, with informal tracking going back to World War II.
