Billionaires Called Civilizational Collapse The Event in Secret 2017 Preparedness Meetings

What was said

"When he went to talk to these guys, it wasn't like they were wondering or speculating that something could happen. They literally had a name for what would happen. They called it the event. They said it could be anything from nuclear disaster to artificial intelligence having a serious issue to a pandemic to something with the climate."

Tech futurist Doug Rushkoff revealed in an interview that he was hired in 2017 or 2018 to advise billionaires on preparing for what they called "the event" - a predetermined civilizational collapse scenario. The wealthy figures had already accepted that some form of catastrophic event would occur and were focused on survival planning including bunker construction. When pressed, Rushkoff confirmed the identity of one of the meeting's leaders to the host, who noted the individual's name should have been obvious based on their public statements about societal transformation.
