Craig Jones says Tom Hardy almost fought Gable Steveson at CJI after opponent pulled out

"Our opponent pulled out at the 11th hour, so I thought I could, uh, strong arm Tom Hardy to replace him. Gable Steveson by getting his name tattooed on my body. We came very close. We came very close, but he had, uh, it was, it was too short notice."
Jiu-jitsu promoter Craig Jones revealed he got Tom Hardy's name tattooed on his hand to convince the actor to step in as a last-minute replacement at his CJI 2 event when Gable Steveson withdrew. Jones confirmed they came close to making the fight happen but the timing didn't work. He also disclosed he attempted to book Tom Hardy vs. Mark Zuckerberg for the first CJI event.
