Zelensky Warns Russia Preparing Massive Strikes Before NATO Summit in Turkey

Ukrainian President Zelensky warned that Russia is planning major attacks timed around the NATO summit in Ankara, Turkey, as Putin launched massive ballistic missile strikes on Kyiv, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia, killing at least 7 civilians with numbers expected to rise. Zelensky criticized delays in receiving U.S. Patriot interceptor missiles, stating Ukraine can shoot down over 90% of drones but lacks capabilities against Russian ballistic missiles. Poland raised its military to maximum alert as NATO scrambled fighter jets in response to Russian long-range aviation activity threatening NATO territory.
