"Dogs in to our country are skinny, but they don't have psychological problems. Dogs in America are chunky and I get to have a TV show. Dogs in America should be the happiest, healthiest, loving, smartest dog on earth because dogs in America have rights. But why would a guy from Mexico comes to America and National Geographic gives them a TV show? Because America was created fightlight avoidance unconsciously."
Milan reveals a paradox: despite Americans loving dogs more than any country he's visited, with birthday parties and Christmas presents for pets, U.S. dogs suffer more psychological problems than dogs in third world countries. He attributes this to Americans unconsciously creating anxiety in their pets through misguided affection and humanization, which led to his TV career rehabilitating these animals.
