Bill Maher Attacks Barbie Movie for Falsely Depicting All Male Mattel Board

"I looked up the board, the because there's a real Mattel company. And I looked up their board. It's six. I think it was six and six. Six men, six women. In the movie, she barges into the Mattel boardroom and it's all men, right? And it's the present day. So, you're literally lying."

Bill Maher criticizes the Barbie movie for depicting an all-male Mattel boardroom when the actual company board is evenly split between men and women. He argues the film perpetuates a false narrative about patriarchy in 2023, claiming when he tweeted this factual correction, no one engaged with the actual argument, only attacking him personally.
