"One agency that I'm particularly mad at is the FDA. If you go to their website and look at their mission statement, their mission statement is to protect the public from harmful products, devices, and things like that. We have had many hearings in the Senate. We have had families reach out to them directly. People who have been in trial of the medications who had these adverse events right away. And FDA has not done their job, and they're still not doing their job."
Dr. Kat Lindley, director of the Independent Medical Alliance fellowship program, directly accused the FDA of failing its core mission to protect Americans from harmful products despite Senate hearings and reports of adverse events from COVID vaccine trial participants and their families. She argues the FDA continues recommending vaccines for elderly and high-risk populations despite evidence of harm, protecting pharmaceutical companies rather than public health.
