Harvard's Avi Loeb to Lead White House UFO Advisory Council

What was said

"The goal is to figure out the nature of unidentified anomalous phenomena, which is a serious matter because at the very least, if you have a down-to-earth approach, they represent human-made objects and they hover over strategic assets. Therefore, they pose a national security threat. We have to figure them out. But of course, there is a chance that perhaps one of them or some of them are not human-made, in which case it will be the biggest discovery ever made by humanity."

Harvard astrophysicist Avi Loeb has been appointed by the Trump administration to lead a new White House scientific advisory council investigating UFOs and UAPs. The council will analyze unclassified government data from intelligence agencies, the Pentagon, and FBI, with Loeb stating they've requested over 50 items of information. Loeb emphasized the council will operate transparently and potentially publish findings in scientific journals, marking a significant shift from past government secrecy on the topic.
