Well, I had waters, but I still got cold water inside. A lot of people is going to the emergency room, the hospital. They got little medical tents over there, which you can see. They got medical tent. It's five to six beds in the medical center and they got free air and free water."
The Great American State Fair on the National Mall was abruptly closed on July 4th after multiple attendees suffered heat-related medical emergencies during record temperatures reaching 104 degrees. On-site staff reported at least seven people passed out within one hour, with insufficient medical stations, no misting stations, and inadequate water supplies provided by organizers. Washington DC temperatures were reported hotter than 99% of the world at the time.
