"A federal judge said the Justice Department effectively conceded it had been violating the law Congress passed last November requiring the agency to release the vast majority of government records related to Epstein. The judge gave Blanche one week to release certain names and other information that was redacted from the files."
A federal judge ruled that the Department of Justice has been violating a Congressional law requiring release of Jeffrey Epstein-related documents. Acting Attorney General Todd Blanch was given one week to release redacted names and information or provide detailed justification for withholding them. The ruling received minimal media coverage despite its significance.
