Dr. James Giordano, a Georgetown forensic neuroscientist who served on the original Havana syndrome case, confirmed documented cases of directed energy weapon use on American soil. He described two generations of weapons: ultrasonic devices causing stroke-like effects, and newer microwave weapons that are scalable to backpack size without large power sources, capable of disrupting neurological function and causing long-term debilitating effects on heart rate, immune and endocrine systems.
